MISSION
The mission of Sky's The Limit Art Academy is to provide budding student artists with opportunities to engage in quality art-making experiences that will supplement their core academic curriculum. While we will teach techniques and skills, creativity and individuality will be encouraged. We intend to inspire and motivate children to become their best at using their unique talents in art.

We aim to reach a wide variety of learners, whether they are children who are enrolled in homeschool programs, children who are engaging in distance learning through their school district, or children who are attending a traditional in-person school setting. Sky's The Limit will work with registered students and parents to create a class schedule that is beneficial for everyone involved.
VISION
Our overall vision is for students to have fun, be creative, and further cultivate their passion for the visual arts. They will gain knowledge and learn techniques that will help them develop into highly skilled student artists. Students will understand artistic concepts, create wonderful art, and also learn about great artists who have been historically underrepresented in the world of art.

Along with developing skills and learning art history, we strive to encourage creativity and self-expression. While concepts will be taught, the intention is for students to make their art "their own" by making individual artistic choices that help their unique personalities shine through.

CORE VALUES
Art is academic: We learn a lot from creating. To study art is to be great at it!

Art takes practice: Some people naturally have a knack for art. For some, it takes a lot more practice to become great. But with hard work, any can do well!

Art is fun: While we will be learning, art has many fun aspects to it.

Art takes time: Art is a process and sometimes it takes a while for us to see the end result. That is OK and a part of the journey.
Sky's The Limit Art Academy Online is for arts enrichment and we welcome all students to join. You can be a student who is attending public school, private school, doing distance learning through your local school district, in a hybrid program at your school, or even homeschool students. For parents who are homeschooling your child, please check your state's homeschool statues to make sure our programs qualify if you intend to use our curriculum to count towards any homeschool requirements.
